- What We Collect
When you place an order, we collect:
Your name, WhatsApp number, email address, billing name, billing state and GSTIN (if you give one).
Details for your invitation: names of the couple and families, event dates, times and venues, map links, verses, photographs, music project brief, design preferences, correspondence and files you provide.Your guest list: guest names, group numbers and phone numbers, if you choose guest personalisation.Your order choices and the time you accepted our Terms & Conditions.When you contact us, we keep your messages.
- Payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. We receive confirmation of the payment and its amount.
- Why We Use Your Information
To make and deliver your invitation.To send you previews, invoices and updates about your order.
To create personal guest links and messages for the guests you list.To keep records we need for accounting and tax.To show your invitation in our portfolio or on social media, only if you have allowed this on the order form.
- Guest Information
Guest names, group numbers and phone numbers are used to create guest links and messages for your invitation. We use guest details to create the invitation features you request and may use service providers for hosting, storage or delivery where necessary to provide those features. We do not sell guest information or use it for marketing. You are responsible for having your guests’ permission to share their details with us.
- Who Can See Your Information
We do not sell your personal information.We use trusted service providers to run our business, for example website hosting, our order form, email, cloud storage and payments. They handle your information only to provide their service to us.Anyone who has your invitation link can open your invitation. Please share the link carefully.We may disclose information when the law requires it.
- How Long We Keep It
Website invitations and hosted guest-name video links: These remain online for 30 days after your last event date, after which we remove them. Extended hosting is available on request at ₹200 per month. For enquiries, contact hello@shagnainvites.com.
Video invitations: Video files are delivered to you, and we do not host or store them for you after delivery.
Customer information and working files: Information, photographs and other files provided by you are retained for the period needed to complete the agreed work and are deleted afterwards, subject to any applicable legal, accounting or legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
Order and billing records: Order records, invoices and billing information are retained for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting and other laws.
These retention periods apply to different types of information. Removing an invitation from hosting does not necessarily mean that all related order or billing records are deleted at the same time.
7. Your Choices
You may contact us at hello@shagnainvites.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal or accounting retention requirements. If you have given us permission to feature your invitation in our portfolio, you may withdraw that permission at any time by contacting us.

- Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.Our forms may collect IP addresses for website security and spam prevention.
